Connect Your Google Suite
Henneth connects to your Google account to power workflows with Search Console, Analytics, Sheets, Docs, and Gmail data. This guide walks you through authorizing your Google account and connecting it to your Henneth dashboard. Setup takes about 2 minutes.
Prerequisites
- A Google Workspace or personal Google account with access to the services you want to connect (Search Console, Analytics, Sheets, Docs, Gmail)
- Admin or owner-level access to the Google Search Console and Analytics properties you want to use
- Access to your Henneth dashboard (Enterprise plan)
Start the connection
Log in to your Henneth dashboard and navigate to Settings → Integrations.
Scroll to the Google Suite card. You'll see the description: "Connect your Google account to use Search Console, Analytics, Sheets, Docs, and Gmail in workflows."
Click + Add another account to begin the OAuth authorization flow.
Authorize with Google
You'll be redirected to Google's standard OAuth consent screen. Sign in with the Google account that has access to the properties you want to connect.
Google will ask you to grant Henneth permission to access specific services. Review the requested permissions, then click Allow.
Use a shared team account if possible
We recommend connecting a shared team or service account rather than a personal account. This ensures continuity if individual team members leave your organization.
Verify your connection
After authorization, you'll be redirected back to your Henneth dashboard. The Google Suite card will show a green Connected badge and display the connected account email, along with the connection date.
You can connect multiple Google accounts by clicking + Add another account again. Each account will appear as a separate entry under the Google Suite card.
Start using Google data in workflows
Once connected, Google data becomes available across Henneth:
- Search Console — Query performance data, indexing status, and crawl analytics feed into your visibility and audit reports
- Analytics — Traffic and engagement data enriches your AI agent traffic analysis
- Sheets — Read from and write to Google Sheets in playbook actions
- Docs — Generate and update Google Docs from playbook outputs
- Gmail — Send notification emails and reports through playbook actions
Data from Search Console and Analytics may take up to 24 hours to fully sync with your dashboard.
Managing connected accounts
Removing an account — Click the trash icon next to any connected account to disconnect it. This immediately revokes Henneth's access and removes the account from all active workflows. Any playbooks using that account's data will need to be updated.
Adding accounts — There is no limit to the number of Google accounts you can connect. Each account's data is scoped to the properties and services that account has access to.
Security and permissions
OAuth 2.0
Henneth uses Google's standard OAuth 2.0 flow for authorization. We never see or store your Google password. You can revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
Scoped access
Henneth requests only the minimum permissions needed for each service. We do not request access to services you don't use within Henneth.
Token storage
OAuth refresh tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. They are never logged in plaintext and are only used to maintain your authenticated session with Google APIs.
Data handling
Data retrieved from Google APIs is processed in real-time and used only within your Henneth workspace. We do not share your Google data with third parties.
Revoking access
You can revoke Henneth's access at any time from two places: (1) In Henneth — click the trash icon next to the connected account. (2) In Google — visit your Google Account permissions page and remove Henneth.
