03 · Playbooks

Composable workflows for the agent stack.

Pre-built and custom playbooks turn signals from Lens and data from Prism into briefs, audits, FAQs, and content, on a schedule or on demand.

01

Templates that work day one

Competitor audits, AI FAQ generators, content briefs, video repurposers, 24 templates tuned for AI visibility.

02

Triggered or scheduled

Run on a cron, fire on a Lens alert, or kick off manually. Outputs land in Slack, email, or your CMS.

03

Auditable by default

Every run logs sources, prompts, and outputs. Show your CMO why the agent recommended what it did.

Anatomy of a run

Trigger → source → transform → output.

Every playbook is a graph of four node types. Compose them in the UI, or drop to YAML when you need the full schema.

01 · TRIGGER

Start a run

Cron schedule, Lens alert, webhook, manual kick-off, or chained from another playbook.

schedulelens-alertwebhookmanual
02 · SOURCE

Pull the data

Lens queries, Prism SKUs, your CMS, competitor sites, Reddit, Trustpilot, whatever the playbook needs.

03 · TRANSFORM

Run the model

Claude, GPT-4.1, or Gemini, with structured output, tool calls, and deterministic caching.

04 · OUTPUT

Ship the work

Slack, Notion, Linear, email, webhook, Contentful, or straight back into Prism as enriched attributes.

Auditability

Every run, every prompt, every source.

Playbooks keep the full execution trace for 18 months, models used, prompts sent, sources retrieved, outputs produced. Enterprise tier adds SOC-2 export and signed audit bundles.

Model provenance

Which model ran, with what system prompt, at what temperature, and which version of the playbook produced the output.

Source attribution

Every URL, SKU, and Lens citation that informed a run, with timestamps and the raw content that was retrieved.

Diff & approval

Optional human-in-the-loop step for CMS pushes. Diff the current and proposed content, approve in Slack, ship on approval.

We replaced a sixteen-step manual Monday reporting ritual with one Playbook. Our CMO gets better insight, earlier, without touching a spreadsheet.

Questions we get

FAQ.

Can I build my own playbooks?
Yes. Every template is a graph of nodes, fork one, start from scratch in the visual builder, or write YAML. Custom Python and TypeScript nodes are supported on enterprise.
Which models can I use?
Claude (Opus, Sonnet, Haiku), GPT-4.1, GPT-4o, Gemini 2.5 Pro, Mistral Large, and any OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Model choice is per-node, so one playbook can mix three providers.
What about cost control?
Each playbook has a per-run budget and a monthly cap. Runs that would exceed budget pause for approval. Token-level cost is logged per node so you can optimise.
Can I run playbooks on my own data, outside of Lens / Prism?
Yes. The source node library includes HTTP fetch, S3, Snowflake, BigQuery, Google Sheets, Notion, and custom SDK sources. Playbooks work standalone, not just on Henneth data.
How do approvals work for CMS pushes?
Add an approve node anywhere in the graph. The run pauses, posts a diff to Slack, and only proceeds when a named reviewer clicks approve. Approval events are logged alongside the run.
Is there an API?
Yes. Trigger runs, fetch outputs, and manage playbooks over HTTPS. Full reference in docs.henneth.ai / playbooks / api.
